Spring is a time of new life, with flowers beginning to emerge from the soil and baby animals taking their first steps in the open in the run-up to Easter. One plant that encapsulates the season perfectly is the Bunny Tail, a grass that evokes both the young flora and fauna of these warmer months!
What are Bunny Tails?
Also known as Hare’s Tails, Bunny Tails are a type of grass with flowerheads that are wonderfully furry and soft which, if it needs to be said, resemble Rabbit tails! Originally from the Mediterranean, they have since been introduced in various locations around the world and can now be found wild in Britain and Ireland. They have also become popular with gardeners for their appearance, texture and ability to blend well with beds of other plants and flowers.
Where can Bunny Tails be for?
These fluffy, soft blooms bring a touch of nature indoors, perfect for bouquets, arrangements, or as standalone accents. Ideal for rustic, bohemian, or modern aesthetics, dried bunny tails offer lasting beauty and a unique texture that enhances any space.
Our dried Bunny Tails
Dried Bunny Tails are especially long lasting and can be displayed regardless of the time of year, including the early months of spring where growing examples will not have fully formed their iconic ‘tails’. Our dried Bunny Tails are available to buy in bunches of 60, allowing you to display them in one or multiple locations around your home. They can also blend in well with vases of other flowers and are around 60cm long, giving them good form and visibility.
Our Bunny Tails are available in a large variety of colours across the spectrum from red, pink, magenta and orange to blue, tiffany blue, black, white and coffee. They are also available in their natural beige and we even stock wreaths featuring red, yellow and green Bunny Tails alongside other dried flowers like Eucalyptus ad Crystal Grass.
